World Cup : Me Vs HIM!

Worl CUP!!!!!!

And they get mad coz we want to watch Oprah for an hour a day after a hard day ! They keep brining topics and u feel suddenly they got this energy to spend some 'Quality' time together! 'talk to me' ,, 'listen to me'! and all the rest! 'Why u not responding'.. 'What's so special about this what's so called Oprah'! ,.. 'this is wallaheee crap! donno how and why u like it'.. and then starts switching channels .. i scream for remote aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. i get it and then its taken all over again .. and so on till this 1 hour relaxation time --which i get occasionally anywayz if and when nunu is asleep or quite-- is over and instead of having a rest .. i end up being more frustrated, tired and angry after all that : "give meeeeeeeeeeee,,quiteeeeeeeeeeeee,, plzzzzzzzzzzz,,"! and much more requests or begging!

Ok am talking about my Husband! who really does that every time i watch Oprah unless if the topic is about re-doing ur rooms or house! then, well he gets interested and actually gets involved with the show to the extent of not hearing me asking a q or sth till i have to call him by name and then he will be : ohh yaaa sorry!

All that coz i want to watch a show for only one hour a day,,when rest of day TV is his and so it the remote!

But now its a different story! and this story is not applicable to ma husboo only but to all men around world except for some who i consider 'weirdo'!

Why now?.. well coz WORLD CUP is on! now same guy or guys would want you to understand them! and just keeeep away from them when the match is on! and nope its not for one hour! its for hummmmmm well one MONTH! 24 hours a day!
Well if each day they show 3 games! each game u say 2 hours then 6 hours are gone ,,time for their work,, time to sleep eat the day is gone!
And if we 'women' dare to ask them for some Quality time then that wud be like :
- not understanding
- not caring
- not loving
- not respecting
- not and not and not!

Men are Selfish wallaheee and they will always be!

Now am thinking : ok assuming i get the one hour Oprah time without any headache or disturbance , then can i assume that i can get same thing for entire month ? 12 horus a day? or 6 hours a day? of watchign TV doing nth but TV! ? Answer is offcourse noooooooo!

But then would i feel that i have the right to tell my husboo that: ur not caring, loving etc ? Answer is: Again No! Instead i will question myself ! one month is too much ,,6 hours too much ,, yes i am guilty! But would my husboo blame himself if i tell him u r not loving not caring and all? Well in case of my husboo i think he would feel guilty but then he would continue watching it! hehehe but some men they dont even admit that they r like ignoring family or doign less than what they should do!

My husboo is not at home now and he wont be here till after 2 weeks when the world cup is reached to top 16 teams! -As he told me!- and there is no World CUp craze at our home! coz my dad is not a TV person.. Well we have another guy but he is too busy with his own goals! he cant be bothered about world cup! am talking about my lil son who is happy scoring a goal with an orange, apple, or a real ball! :)

But whats surrprisng me is that i feel and understand the excitment of my husbo! for world cup! to the extent that i keep following up with my colleague about getting the ART card or any other cheaper way of watcing World cup! i want to surrprise my husband with WORLD CUP tv available at home so that when he comes he can watch it at home comfort and dont have to go to crowded hot coffee shops or wherever else! I am even thinking to get the card b4 my husband comes so that i give it to his bros so that they can enjoy it till my husboo comes and then they can join him at our home or he can join them at their home.. ! I am surrprised that i actualy dont get angry when he calls in rush and says ok game will start in 5 mnts just called to hear u ! i totally understand and i will be like ok ok goo gooo dont miss it!

I guess we women can never be less caring , loving, understading not matter what ..
And i guess i cant ignore what he wants , i cant really take revenge :)Love u 7abibii ~
