GITEX 2006

Am feeling a bit pissed of at my collegue! We all were supposed to go to GITEX 2006 in Dubai and we all agreed on the time table; when who goes and who should be available at work. Today this colleage decides that he will not come to work! when as per teh schedule he is supposed to come so that me and my anothe rcolleague can go..

the guy who didnt come , didnt even bother to call to say he wont.. just kept quite and ignored our manager's calls till late in day and replied to one of our manager's calls and told him: i am still in dubai and i cant come coz i had a car accident ! :)

A BIG LIE!

he actually just left today to dubai to attend GITEX for one day and come back same day and attend work tomorrow! what can i say! SELFISH is teh word i can think of!

I didn tdo my packing! my husband and kid will come with me.. am taking my baby with me to giev my mama a break! she needs a big break specially since our maid left and all hosue work from cleanign washing cookign etc. is done by mama..

aahh,, neva mind.. i dont mind stayign n leaving late if work really demands that and if it is was really something out of our hands! but getting paid for 4 days offical visit and going to attend only one day and choose the day which u r supposed to join work as day to attend teh visit is really a pissing off scene and act.

oh well.. but u know what! I AM STILL EXCITEDDDDDDDDDD

i will do a bit of shopping for my sis .. my main target is find a wedding dress! Indian Style.. for a beautiful bride.. my sis that is :) ..

She is an engaged lady now :)
My sis that is, she got engaged this past Thrsday 16 Nov 06 .. wawoooooooooooooo haaa ;)

hummmmm so from where shall i start ? humm ok she wore a nice blushi purplish lilacish dress,, really nice colour and really nice makeup ,, she looked simply beautiful :)

all her freinds came, school days freinds, work colleagues, and college freinds,, all my freinds also came and i had the best time evaaaaaaaa..really and truly.. the party feeling, the left foot dancing(since we all were misrable dancers! but haay who cares hehehe)

really it was so much fun,, house was packed! literally packeD! we even had to open my mama's bed room to allow ppl to sit ,, hall, a room, my mama bed room and the room where the bride to be inshallah and all our freinds sat (upstair room) all were packed! with Ladies! Majlis was over packed with men! god n yet i just cudnt feel anythng but of fun n joy :)

when time ccame to give food then it was really a hummmmmm lets say scary expereince! hehehehhe coz ppl were too much n i was scrad that food might not be enough or so ,, specially since my freinds and all gurls were upstairs so i was worried that if we take food n head to go to upstair then ppl who r sitting right down or in groudn floor will ask us to pass them the food! hehehe this actually happened when one of our freinds wanted to take cold drinks to the gang upstair ,, she had to take teh drinks n fill in teh plate 3 times before she was able to actually take it to the gurls waiting all desprate for a can of coke, dew or pepsi hehehe,, each time this gurl head to go up, ladies down pull her down or ask her ot pass them the drink! god! one lady even was asking for chilli! qroon filfil! i was like: what the hac! thsi si a wedding! not resturant ! u ask for athcar! mu'7alal n qroon filfil?!!!!!!! hehehehehhe but then how else thy can point at u and say ur arrangements were far less then ok! :P

the groom looked happy and so did my sis ,, my husboo brought him in ,, i was so happy to see...my husboo lolll :P
mama was happy ,, the entire family,, or both the families looked very happy .. his mama is a nice lady ,, she was happy,,, also his sisters were nice to us.. :)

inshallah ya rab all our freinds and gurls who want to get married find a nice man n get married soon so that we can serve them as they did for us ,, and make rabsha n jawo in their parties too ,, specially my asooomee who i think is the most caring person,, i really can depend on her in anything,,

when the party ended the house was a simple MESS! we had to dust the house maybe 5 times and clean the floor with water 3 times maybe ,, wipe it n all ,,, till we got the house back into shape ,, next day :)

Now my dad says: will neva do any such parties in home! when b4 he used to say: whats thsi u want ppl to talk abotu us and say we dont have a house to celebrate in and its 3aib and all that tooooooooooooooooooo old fashion talk! now he says: FULLSTOP! all in halls n stuff so cooooooooooool man :)

My mum ,, god bless her n save her always n a day may neva come where i see my mum in pain or sad or anything ,,

i love her .. she is a person who dedicated her life to all of us! she is a real candle who burnt herslef for her daughters and husband n yet gets no respect and love that she deserves! she deserves life full of happiness , health, joy and much more

and now we r already palnnign for wedding inshallh
i am thinkign to compose a nice simple dance,, in which we will be 3 dancing same steps,, spcially now that i got offer from A ans Z that they will help me and will make similar dresses and will dance 2gthr
am so excited yepieeeeeeeeeeee heheh :)

MY LIL SIS ENGAGMENT PARTTY :)

Finallyy the day came :) when i see my lil sis as a bride .. inshallah al goes well for her ameen.. soon will be her engagment party..she is sooooooooo excited about it and so r we.. but offcourse not as she is.. yet she is very scared and very worried to anything that might go wrong..but inshallah nth at all will go wrong :)

We bought her dress...and both of us went to some gurls to book for makeup,,finally we decided we gona go with MAC ppl.. we even did a brova kind of a thing for her and i thoght it was really nice,, but not what i had in mind,,yet it was nice,, but when we came home mama didnt liek the eye shadow (smoky purplish) ..anywayz my sis talked to makeup artist and she asked her to put a bit lighter eyeshadow so hopefully that will be cool..

now we are waiting for my husband to come to order n arrange for food ,, as this is his area and he is good at it ..

sis tried to book for music system ,, like u know amplifiers and music players n stuff,, she asked some labaneese and they said they charge 80 rials! !!!!!!! for one day ,, just teh equipment! i thought thats tooo much really for engagmnet party but then my sis wants the music to be all aroudn the house,, all clear and loud.. i liek that too to be honest but i think 80 rials too much for now.. and its a home party inside the home so humm donno ..

inshallah on 16 Nov my sis will eb officially engaged and infront of all :) ..am soo happy for her and pray all goes well for her and she lives happily ever after ya rabbb :)

after this we r planning to go to dubai for her wedding dress shopping,, its gona be a tiry search am sure,, but a joyfull one too,, i love shopping or just crusing aroudn in dubai hehehe,,althoguh i hate teh traffic but when i remebr dubai i remebr the food and the nice service we get in their resturants,, and i feeeeel like aaaaah just for the yummiiii foood in dubai all the tirness and all the rush and traffic jam is worth it heheheh
